About

J.F. Evans

I write queer love stories across centuries — a blacksmith and a tailor building a household in a colony that would hang them for it, a rookie cop and a law student learning to hold on without holding back.

I research a period until it feels like a place you could walk into — then I try to write the people history left out as though they mattered. Because they did.

Influenced by Charles Frazier, John Steinbeck, and TJ Klune.
